Creator Friendly and Balanced Diet

People are a thirsty for all information relating to diets, if you enter the keyword "diet" into Google it is absolutely amazing how many results you will get, try it and see for yourself. It is fascinating to understand that there are 575 million web pages about diets, but what really bakes my noodle is that obesity is at epidemic levels and diseases such as cancer are generally on the increase, but despite all that we are living longer, so we must be doing something right.

There seems to be an awakening to the organic food movement and the dangers of GMO food, and the dangers of MSG, artificial colours and preservatives etc, but are we following the law as laid down by our Creator as to what we should be eating to be spiritually balanced and to be in good standing with the Great Spirit, the Creator?

If you examine the sacred texts and the ancient teachings, they all say the same thing, more or less. The Creator deemed that we should be Vegetarians, he gave us a choice, he told us to look at the animals in the field and see how they behaved, he said we could be like the carnivore or the herbivore, each choice would hold consequences for us spiritually, one path would take us into higher levels of purity both in body and mind and soul, and the other would take us lower into the hell worlds of our own making.

The food that we consume leaves on our body its energy imprint, so if we consume flesh, and that animal was abused and died a horrid death then the fear that consumed that animal will be transferred to us when we eats it flesh. There is the argument that everything is alive, and everything has consciousness and that no matter what we eat we are depriving something of its life experience. Once again we need to follow the law laid down by the Creator, we need to live by faith and not always by human logic which is so often flawed.

In the book of Genesis (1:29-30) from the old testament, our Creator laid out what should be our diet:

Then God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of the earth, and every tree yielding seed: it shall be food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to everything that moves on the earth that has life, I have given every green plant for food: and it was so.

Jesus talks about diet and health in the 'Essene Gospel of Peace, Book One'.

And Jesus continued: "God commanded your forefathers: 'Thou shalt not kill.' But their heart was hardened and they killed. Then Moses desired that at least they should not kill men, and he suffered them to kill beasts. And then the heart of your forefathers was hardened yet more, and they killed men and beasts likewise. But I do say to you: Kill neither men, nor beasts, nor yet the food which goes into your mouth.

For if you eat living food, the same will quicken you, but if you kill your food, the dead food will kill you also. For life comes only from life, and from death comes always death. For everything which kills your foods, kills your bodies also. And everything which kills your bodies kills your souls also. And your bodies become what your foods are, even as your spirits, likewise, become what your thoughts are.

Therefore, eat not anything which fire, or frost, or water has destroyed. For burned, frozen and rotted foods will burn, freeze and rot your body also. Be not like the foolish husbandman who sowed in his ground cooked, and frozen, and rotten seeds. And the autumn came, and his fields bore nothing. And great was his distress. But be like that husbandman who sowed in his field living seed, and whose field bore living ears of wheat, paying a hundredfold for the seeds which he planted.

For I tell you truly, live only by the fire of life, and prepare not your foods with the fire of death, which kills your foods, your bodies and your souls also."

For the serious spiritual seeker, it really is a straight forward answer to which diet one should follow to be in good standing with our Creator. I do not suggest becoming vegetarian if you do not feel driven to doing it, many people who go from an omnivore diet straight into a vegetarian diet can experience detox symptoms and others may experience a possible medical reaction to giving up following the 'normal' way of eating.

Remember, if you are thinking about changing your diet, please seek medical advice and get as many sources of information before taking the plunge.
